Roger Dale Miller, Sr.

Roger Dale Miller, Sr., 78, of Lexington, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Alan Greene officiating.

The family will be gathering at; 310 Longview Road, Lexington, NC 27292 following the graveside service.

Mr. Miller was born July 22, 1943, in Mercer County to Joseph Francis Miller and Edith Ann Dunford Miller. He was a born again Christian and was a loving father and grandfather whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine Marie Howell Miller brothers, Joe Miller, Jr., Buddy Miller, Fred miller, and John Miller, Sr.; and his sisters, Virginia Miller, Elizabeth Saddler, Maxine Watkins, and Fern Mitchem.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Roger Miller, Jr. (Tiffany), Tina Leonard (Chris), and Joanie Moretz (Shannon) all of Lexington; nine grandchildren, Chrissy Putnam (Ryan), Dahlen Leonard (Kristen), Kayla Miller, Tyler Forrest, Summer Cecil (Taylor), Brittany Hutchins (Brad), Taylor Moretz, Mackenzie Moretz, and Carley Moretz; and seven great-grandchildren, Hunter Putnam, Reese Putnam, Paisley Putnam, Audrey Leonard, Travys Smith, Rowan Cecil, and Lily Marie Hutchins.
