Roger Elwood Todd 67 of Richard Road, Lexington went home to be with his Lord Saturday November 26, 2011 at his home. A funeral service will be 2: 00 pm Wednesday November 30, 2011 at North Lexington Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Gavin Pratt and Dr. Robert Floyd and burial to follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 6 until 8 pm Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home. Mr. Todd was born May 24, 1944 in Davidson County to Henry Dalton Todd and Bevie Lillian Smith Todd. He was retired from Lexington Home Brands and a member of North Lexington Baptist Church. His daughter, Mary Darlene Todd his parents, one brother Henry Donald Todd and a sister Bonnie Todd preceded him in death. Roger’s greatest passion was his grandkids. He loved listening to his music and working in his garage. He had a huge heart and loved being able to help people. He never met a stranger and was loved by everyone. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Grubb Todd of the home. Daughters: Angela Dawn Todd and Rhonda Blackwell and husband Eric all of Lexington. Grandchildren: Teland Neal Todd of Pembroke, Emre Elizabeth Todd and Eret Maraj Todd both of Lexington. Sisters: Betty Jean Pope and husband Larry and Becky Archie all of Lexington. Diane Vestal and husband Wesley of Jacksonville and Lillian Todd of Winston Salem. Brother: Steven Wayne Todd and his wife Beverly of Lexington. Step Sisters: Gladys Humphries of Shelby and Doris Drake of Greensboro. Also surviving are Mans Best Friend, his pet Tiny .
