Roger Whitlow

Roger D. Whitlow, 75, of Lexington and Trinity, died Thursday, March 8, 2007, at Kindred Hospital, Greensboro, after declining health for several years. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Floral Garden Memorial Park, High Point, by the Rev. Ardis D. Payne. Mr. Whitlow was born Jan. 23, 1932, in Guilford County to William Whitlow and Marie Leonard Whitlow. He was a member of High Point Friends Meeting and was a retired federal revenue officer for the Internal Revenue Service, a member of the Jr. Order of United American Mechanics, a ham radio operator, an auctioneer, a member of the River Rats organization and also held a real estate license. Surviving are his wife, Joan Ridge Whitlow of the home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Friday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
