Ron Masi

Ronald Vincent Masi, 77, of Tyro Rd, died Monday, March 15, at Accordius of Winston Salem.

A funeral service will be held at 4 pm on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Tyro United Methodist Church with the Rev. Randy Foster officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3 pm until 4 pm prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Masi was born September 6, 1943 in Norwalk, CT to Pasquale and Rose Masi.  He was a retired Fire Captain with the Norwalk Fire Department and a member of Tyro United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Pat Masi and wife Tee, and Vincent Masi.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Israel Masi of Lexington; his son, Dakota Masi of Lexington; his sisters-in-law, Marge Masi of Spring Hill, FL, Brenda Teller of Bridgeport, CT, and Ellen Fitelson (Richard) of Sun City, AZ; numerous of nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tyro United Methodist Church at 4484 S North Carolina Hwy 150, Lexington, NC 27295 or to the Norwalk Professional Firefighters, Local 830 at 121 Connecticut Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06851.
