Ronald Dale Cross

Ronald Dale Cross, 55, of Southmont, died Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Hinkle Hospice House following a period of declining health.   A funeral service will be Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Macedonia United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Tammy Talbert. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM before the service at the church.   Mr. Cross was born May 2, 1963, in Davidson County, to Jesse Cross Jr. and Mary Katherine Newsome Cross.  He was a logger and of the Methodist faith.   Surviving are brothers, Terry June Cross and husband James of Lexington, Randy Newsome and wife Angel of Southmont; sisters, Becky Cross Leonard and husband Ray, Vickie Adams and husband Chris, both of Southmont. Also surviving is his step grand daughter, Harley Call and several nieces and nephews.   In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292
