Ronald James Dorr

Mr. Ronald James Dorr, 75, died Monday, June 15, 2026, at Cedar Hills Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Clemmons.

He was born on July 29, 1950, in New Britain Connecticut, to the late Carl Delbert Dorr, and Shirley Torello Dorr.

Ron was a member of the BPOE Elks Club, and was a past exalted ruler. He loved mechanic work, tinkering with small engines, visiting Connecticut, spending time with his grandchildren, and enjoyed living a simple life.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his longtime partner; Patricia Dutton.

Survivors include his children, Stacey Russell (George) and Ron Dorr, Jr.; two grandchildren, Emma Russell and Ethan Russell; a sister; Deborah Frenette (David), all of Connecticut, and a companion, Diana Eubanks.

A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
