Ronald Talley

Ronald Lloyd Talley, 79, of Lexington, passed away October 24, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, October 30, 2023 at Davidson Funeral Home with Rev. James Messer officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church in Thomasville.  Visitation will be Monday, October 30, 2023 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Davidson Funeral Home.

Ronald was born to Charles Evan Talley and Mary Margaret Calloway Talley on December 17, 1943.  He served in the US Army and was a member of Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church. Ronald “Ralph” loved working in his yard and collecting anything from coins and model cars and sorting through it all.

He is preceded in death by his loving parents and his brother Doug Talley.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Ina Grace, son, Tony Burris (Amber), daughters; Mary “Dusti” Martin, Lisa “Charlee” Everhart, and Sherry Berry, brothers; Ted Talley and Larry Talley (Betsy), and sister Tena Hough (Lee) and numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren who he cherished and his very best furry friend Lil’ Booger.

Memorial can be made to Shriner’s Hospital and/or St. Jude’s.
