Ronald Jackson Walton, 78, of Gray Road, Lexington, died Thursday in Thomasville Medical Center as results of an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007 at DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL with Chaplain Ronald McLaughlin officiating.
Mr. Walton was born May 6, 1929 in Guilford County to Joe Grady Walton and Clara Agnes Daily Walton. He was the retired owner/operator of Continental Coiffeurs, a member of First Baptist Church of Lexington and was a veteran of the US Army.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a grandson, Taylor Gray Mathews.
Ronald is survived by 2 sons, Jeffery Walton of St. Petersburg, Florida; Gordon Scott Walton of Lexington; 2 daughters, Ann Baker and husband Lee of Lexington; Tracy Livengood and husband Jimmy of Thomasville; 3 grandchildren, Zachary Baker and wife, DeeDee; Derek Baker, Alec Baker; and a brother, William G. Walton of Winston-Salem.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home of the daughter, Ann Baker, 1286 Gray Road, Lexington.
