Ronda Money

Ronda Faye Lanning Money, age 70, of Lexington, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018.   A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with the Rev. Tammy Talbert officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.   The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday at the Funeral Home.   Ronda was born in Davidson County on January 31, 1948 to George Edward Lanning and Virginia Michael Lanning. In addition to having many other titles, she was the CFO and office manager at JSM Electric for 34 years and was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church. Ronda was a proud cancer survivor of 22 years, and retired from Wooten Printing after 25 years of service.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be forever missed.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Luther Lanning and Robert Lanning.   Surviving are her loving husband of 47 years, James “Jimmy” Money Jr. of the home; two sons, James Stacey Money III of Winston Salem and Jeremy S. Money (Liz) of Lexington; two brothers, Lawrence “Ed” Lanning and Billy Lanning both of Lexington; one sister, Layne Lanning Walser of Lexington; two granddaughters, Eden Money and Jillian Money; a special great nephew, Chase Rhodes; and a host of extended family that she loved so dearly.   Memorials may be directed to Macedonia United Methodist Church at PO Box 190, Southmont, NC 27351.
