Roney "Ron" William Walser

Roney “Ron” William Walser, 46 of Lexington went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 25 ^th .

A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 1 at 3:00 p.m. at Reedy Creek Baptist Church, 600 Reedy Creek Baptist Church Road, Lexington, North Carolina. Visitation will be held at the church from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Roney was born on September 30, 1976, in Forsyth County to Albert “Bill” and Nancy Koontz Walser of Clemmons. He graduated from North Davidson Senior High School in 1994. He attended Forsyth Technical Institute and received his Associate Degree in Machinist and worked for Musgrave Tool & Die and Tyco.

Roney later received his N.C. Realtor & Brokers License, as well as his N.C. Auctioneers License; having won the North Carolina Rookie Auctioneer of the Year Award in 1998. Roney was the owner and operator of Walser Auction & Realty and conducted many auctions in Davidson, Forsyth, Davie, and Yadkin Counties.

Roney furthered his abilities and skills by completing his Associate Degrees in Heating & Air Conditioning, Refrigeration & Electrical and opened AIRCO Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. in 2009 as the owner and operator.

Roney is survived in addition to his father and mother by his brother, Marty Scott Walser, David Johnson, and Roney’s significant other, Heather Welborn.

Roney enjoyed all things outdoors and wildlife related, including fishing, hunting, boating, hiking, and spending time in the mountains at his Mom and Dad’s cabin.

Memorials may be made to the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission.
