Ronnie Edward Allred

Ronnie Edward Allred of Lexington, NC passed away on November 10, 2020 at the age of 80.

He was born On October 3, 1940 in Lexington, NC to Robert Edward (Ed) and Daisy Beatrice (Bea) Parks Allred.  He graduated from Central Davidson High School and Capital Radio Engineering Institute in Washington, DC.  While in D.C., he met the love of his life, Patsy (Pat) Norris whom he was married to for 58 years.   Ronnie was owner and operator of Allred Security, Inc. for most of his adult life.  A more honest businessperson you could not find.  He spent nearly 30 years as a volunteer fire fighter, primarily at South Lexington Volunteer Fire Department.  He was a long time member of Cotton Grove United Methodist Church where he previously devoted much of his time until Parkinson’s disease would no longer allow him to work or volunteer.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Pat; children Rodney and Tammy; grandchildren Taylor and Tania Parkins; and sister Clara Benson.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, there will be no public services.  In lieu of flowers, Ronnie’s memory may be honored by making a memorial to donor’s choice.
