Ronald Gray “Ronnie” Foster, 55 of Wafford Rd. Lexington went home to be with his Lord, on Tuesday November 24th after a courageous battle of 3 years.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday December 2, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Marc Cutrell officiating.
Ronnie was born in Guilford County on September 21, 1960 to Donald Lee Foster, Sr. and Dorothy Webster Foster. He was employed with the Davidson County Sheriff Department where he helped everyone including escorting several funerals for Davidson and Piedmont Funeral Home. He served on several committees including the Hospice Ride for Angels Motorcycle Committee for 8 years, NC Crime Prevention Association and Mothers Against Drunk Drivers. He was preceded in death by his father.
Surviving are his wife Charlene VanZant Foster of the home, sons, Raymond Jones(Melissa), Josh Foster and Brian Jones all of Lexington and daughters, Mandy Foster of Winston Salem and Tiffany Foster of Lexington, his mother of Lexington and brother Donald “Don” Foster, Jr. (Sherri) 16 grandchildren and a very special brother and friend Greg Wood (Tiffany) of Lexington.
Ronnie was a sweet soul and will be missed by many.
