Ronnie Gene Lashmit, Sr.

:  Ronnie Gene Lashmit Sr., age 54 of Michael Road, Lexington passed away Friday (Sept. 17, 2010) at Lexington Memorial Hospital. Memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Thursday (September 23, 2010) at his home.   Ronnie was born April 28, 1956 in Forsyth County to Fred Whiley Lashmit and Mildred Daye Lashmit.  He was a former employee of Tube Tex.  He served his country for fourteen years in the United States National Guard.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Marsha Ann Lashmit; two brothers, Fred and Paul Lashmit.   Surviving are;  wife, Lawahna Hill Lashmit of the home; one daughter, Amanda Lashmit of Lexington; one son, Ronnie Gene Lashmit, Jr. of Gary, West Virginia; one step-daughter, Victoria Lynn Edwards of Lexington; one step-son, Jeffery Lynn Mullens, Jr. of Indiana; four grandchildren; three sisters, Sue Watkins of Winston Salem, Jowannna McBride of Belews Creek and Joann Wishon of Southport, NC; two brothers, Donnie Lashmit of Yadkinville and Jim Lashmit of Kernersville.   Arrangements by Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington    Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
