Ronnie Reid

Ronald “Ronnie” Clifton Reid, 71, of Perryman Rd., Lexington died Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, January 10, 2014 at Good Hope United Methodist Church with Pastor Clyde Akers officiating. The family will receive friends after the service and other times at the home of the brother, Barry Reid. Mr. Reid was born September 16, 1942 in Davidson County to Thomas Benbow Reid and Vera Perryman Reid. He was a retired Dispatcher for Swing Transport, and his CB Handle was Snoopy. Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, Tommy Reid, a sisters, Anita Darlene Reid and a sister-in-law, Kaye Bowers. Surviving are his wife, Linda Sue Owens Reid of the home; a son, Randy Reid of Lexington; a daughter, Kimberly Reid of Lexington; two brothers, J.W. Reid (Theresa), Barry Reid (Audrey) a Sister, Florence Reid Johnson of Lexington; and three brother-in-laws, David Owens (Penny) of Richfield, Ken Owens (Judy) and Don Owens al of Lexington.
