Ronnie Floyd Sanders, 55, of Bridle Creek Trail, died Saturday, February 1, 2014, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at Yadkin Baptist Church in Spencer with Pastors Billy Louya and David Wooten officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service and other times at the home on Bridle Creek Trail.
Mr. Sanders was born August 7, 1958, in Randolph County, to Floyd Sanders and Jewel Swink Sanders. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from North Carolina Department of Transportation. His parents preceded him in death.
Surviving are his loving wife, Tammie Collins Sanders of the home; daughter, Angela Louya and husband Billy of Lexington; stepdaughters, Christy Grubb and fiancé, Joe Sink and Heather Grubb and fiancé Lane Penland, all of Lexington; three grandchildren, Cameron Louya, Preston Louya, and Chloe Grubb; and brothers, James Sanders of Salisbury and Keith Sanders and wife Irene of Lexington.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
