Ronny Lynn Benson Jr.

Ronny Lynn Benson Jr. 48 of Winston-Salem, NC passed away August 28, 2016 due to long term illness. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 7th, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Victory on the Frontline, 4307 Welcome Arcadia Road, Lexington, NC 27295 with Rev. Michael Duffield officiating. A visitation will be held with family and friends following the service. Ronny was born December 25, 1967 in Davidson County to Ronny Benson Sr. and Vicky Kennon Benson Hassett. He was preceded in death by his mother. He was a graduate of Wake Forest University. Surviving are his father Ronny Benson Sr. and his wife Sindy Benson; three brothers, Wesley Benson, Jamie Benson and Kevin Benson; two step-sisters, Erica Walser, Kathryn Tripp and best friend Eloy Reyes Salas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Humane Society of Forsyth County, 4881 Country Club Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27104. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Road is assisting the family.
