Rosa Younts

Rosa Younts, a beloved resident of Lexington, North Carolina, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at the age of 78. Born in Davidson County, NC, Rosa dedicated her life to her family and home.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a celebration of Rosa's life on Sunday, March 9, 2025. A visitation will take place from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Union Grove Church in Lexington, NC, with the funeral service immediately following at 3:00 PM and burial in the church cemetery. Rev. TW Bailey and Preacher Dean Thomason will officiate the service, offering words of comfort and remembrance.

Rosa was the heart and soul of her family, always putting her loved ones above all else. She enjoyed spending time surrounded by family, offering her loving support and wisdom to those around her.

Rosa was preceded in death by her parents and her devoted husband, Harvey Gray Younts. She is also predeceased by her beloved sisters, Mary Bates, Brenda Bates, Peggy Hartman, Josephine Bates, Judy Bates, and Mae Bates and her brother, Roy Frank Bates.

She leaves behind a cherished legacy through her children: two sons, Michael G. Younts and Joseph Younts (Crystal), and a daughter, Dianna Younts Thomason (Dean), 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Vickie Mann, who will forever hold dear the bond they shared.

While Rosa may have departed this earthly realm, her kind spirit and loving memory will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be greatly missed but remembered with love and fondness forever.
