Rosalie Holshouser

Rosalie Holshouser, 86, of Hilltop Drive, Linwood, died Monday, May 31, 2021 with family by her side.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 3 ^rd in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Visitation with family and friends will be held from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Holshouser was born October 19, 1934 in Floyd County, Indiana to Clem Augusta Endris and Elizabeth Margaret Alt Endris.  She was a homemaker and was of the Lutheran faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband; Julius “Bud” Monroe Holshouser, son Jeff Holshouser, brothers Frank and Arvin, sisters Frances, Gertrude, Violet and Lillian, and granddaughter Melissa Smith.

Rosalie is survived by two sons, Mark Holshouser (Cindy) of Lexington, Paul Holshouser (Lydia) of Linwood; three daughters, Neena Morgan (Wade) of Salisbury, Julia Holshouser (Jimmy) of King, Sandy Walker (Jeff) of Lexington; 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
