Alma Rose Everhart Lopp, 73, of Second Rainbow Street, died Monday, May 25, 2015, at Hinkle Hospice House.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Madison Heights Freewill Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. David Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, and other times at the home.
Mrs. Lopp was born September 5, 1941, in Davidson County, to James Roosevelt and Nannie Jane Prevette Everhart. She was retired from Lexington Furniture. Mrs. Lopp was also the former Treasurer at her church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Timothy Lopp; sister, Mildred Everhart Green; and brother-in-law, Frank Green.
Surviving are her loving husband Jerry Milton Lopp of the home; son, Michael Lopp of Lexington; daughter, Karen Elliott and husband David of Lexington; grandchildren, Shane Hunt, Chris Elliott and wife Shannon, Curt Ross and wife Christie, Allen Lopp, Farrah Lopp, Taryn Lopp; great-grandchildren, Caleb Ross, Mason Elliott, Riley Elliott, Marley Hunt, and Camden Ross; a brother, Calvin Everhart and wife Eva of Lexington; nieces, Robin Bivens, Crystall Truell and husband Rick, and Star Everhart; and nephews, Ricky Green and wife Linda, Rocky Everhart and wife, Vicki and Randy Everhart and wife Dana.
