Rosemond Chenoweth

Rosemond Holland Chenoweth, age 78 of Lea Meadow Road, Lexington passed away at her home on Saturday, July 14, 2018.   A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Welcome with Rev. Mark Blair officiating. Burial will follow in First Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the service.   Rosemond was born in Randolph County, Indiana on August 21, 1939 to Earnest Herman Holland and Lela Moyer Holland. She was a retired employee of AT&T, a member of First Baptist Church of Welcome where she served as Librarian. She also volunteered with the Food Pantry and Meals on Wheels. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Kay Tally.   Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Paul Chenoweth of the home; sisters, Betty Wise (Duane) of Lynn, Indiana and Joyce McClure of Winchester, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.   In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.   Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the Chenoweth family.
