Roy Gandy

Roy Luther Gandy, 74, of Beckford Drive, died Saturday, February 18 at Forsyth Medical Center.    A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, February 22 at Beulah United Church of Christ, by the Rev. Trudy Irving.  Burial with military rites will follow in the church cemetery.    The family will receive friend from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home.    Mr. Gandy was born December 10, 1942 in Davidson County to Rufus Leslie Gandy and Lucille Brown Gandy.  He faithfully served his county in the US Army and later retired from Tyco.    He is survived by his wife, Dana Warfford Gandy of the home; his sons, Roy B. Gandy and companion, Bonita, and Bryan F. Gandy, both of Lexington; his brothers, Lewis Brown and wife, Jean, R.L. Gandy, and wife, Kay, and Harold Gandy and wife, Treva, all of Lexington; and his sisters, Laura Nifong of King, and Jeannie Tesh and husband, Larry, of Lexington.12/
