Roy Harrison

Roy Thomas Harrison, 48, of White Street, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by Dr. Gary Gibson. Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Harrison was born Dec. 13, 1957, in Davidson County to Roy Vernon Harrison and Barbara Jean Whitehead Harrison. He was self-employed as a home builder. His mother preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife, Wanda Bowens Harrison of the home; a son, Devlyn Paul Harrison of Lexington; his father and stepmother, Roy and Ruth Harrison of Alcoa, Tenn.; and two stepsisters, Evelyn King and Deborah Smith, both of Alcoa, Tenn. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday.
