Roy Len Shelly

Roy Len Shelly, 50, of Della Wilson Road, died Saturday, December 26, 2015, from injuries received in an auto accident. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2015, at North Lexington Baptist Church with the Revs. Gavin Pratt and Dr. Robert Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home Wednesday, December 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. and other times at the home of Donna Shelly. Mr. Shelly was born July 6, 1965, in Los Angeles County, Ca., to Roy Lee Shelly and Mary Frances Sparks Buller. He was employed at Thomas Built Buses and a member of North Lexington Baptist Church. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lee Tollie. Surviving are his daughter, Shana Shelly of Lexington; grandchildren, Kaiden Kelly and Bryson Shelly; his mother; brothers, Sammy Shelly of Charlotte and Mikey Buller of Lexington; sisters, Vickii Shelly of Charlotte and Sharon Roberson of South Carolina; and his former wife, Donna Faye Moree Shelly of Lexington.
