Roy Lee Wilson, Jr. age 55 of Wilson Road, Linwood, died Friday morning (10-05-2007) in Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday at Fundamental Baptist Tabernacle with Pastor Chris Lanning and Pastor Michael Greer. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Roy was born in Davidson County August 21, 1952 to Roy Lee Wilson, Sr. and Lucille Sims Wilson. He was a former employee of Council Craftsman Furniture and of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are wife: Roseann Smith Wilson of the home, Son; PFC Roy Lee Wilson, III stationed at Cherry Point, NC, Daughters; Star Barrier husband Robbie and Brandy Wilson all of Linwood, Three Grandchildren; Samantha Barrier, Emily Barrier, T.J. Wilson, mother; Lucille Sims Wilson of Lexington, Brother; Gene Wilson wife Kathy of Lexington. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6 until 8 pm at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington and at other times at the home.
