Ruby Carolyn Cline Carter, 63, of Canary Drive, died Friday, July 31, 2015, at her home. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Davidson Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Disher officiating. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, August 2, 2015. Mrs. Carter was born December 5, 1951, in Forsyth County, to Roy Younts and Ruth Etrullia Mcintyre Easter. She was a member of Lexington Community Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Casey Dean Carter; and a brother, Charlie Wayne Cline. Surviving are her husband, Paul Crumpler Carter of the home; son, Dustin Wayne Carter and wife Jodie of Lexington; daughter, Paula Carter Howard and husband Mike of Lexington; and grandchildren, Landon Seth Carter, Trevor Dean Carter, Karson Elizabeth Carter and Rylee Shea Howard; and sisters, Linda Hyatt and husband Wayne, Deborah Sherman and husband Tommy, Becky Boas, all of Lexington, and Mary Ann Gales of Thomasville.
