Ruby Hope Edwards Draper, 76, of June Lane, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, at Forsyth Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pine Primitive Baptist Church, where she was a member, by Elders Gene Hogan and David Anderson. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hope was born Nov. 13, 1929, in Northampton County to John Russell Edwards and Edith Edwards. She was a homemaker and nurse's aid with Medical Park Hospital. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ruby Harmon, and her husband, Merle,and a sister, Velda Hodsdon.
Surviving are her husband, Elder John M. Draper of the home; two sons, Karl R. Draper and John Mark Draper, both of Winston-Salem; a daughter, Elizabeth Faith Haneline of Lexington; four grandchildren, Amy Austin, Bryan Draper, Mack Lounsbury and Cassidy Haneline; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington from 6:30 until 8:30 tonight and other times at the home.
