Ruby Walser Edmonds

Ruby Walser Edmonds, age 74, of Friendship Church Road, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.   Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Good Hope United Methodist Church with Pastor Joseph M. Fulk, III, officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the church prior to the service and at other times at the home of the son at Palomino Trail in Midway.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.   Ruby was born in Davidson County, NC to William Artis Walser and Treva Hege Walser.  She was retired from Duracell where she worked as an assembler.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry Mack Edmonds, and a brother, James William Walser.   Surviving is her son, Jimmy (Bo) Walser and wife, Emily, of Lexington; two sisters and a sister-in-law; her two beloved grandsons, Taylor (Julia) and Jesse; and great-grandchildren Courtey, Austin, Zoe, Carter and Parker Lee.   The family would like to extend special thanks to everyone at Hospice for the wonderful care that was provided to Ms. Edmonds.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
