Ruby Maxine “Mack” Kepley Farrington, 82, of West Sixth Street, died Wednesday, February 03, 2010, at Hinkle Hospice House.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2010, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Darrell Sluder officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Farrington was born January 15, 1928, in Davidson County, to Clyde Andrew Kepley and Geneva Burkhart Kepley. She was retired from Lexington Police Department after serving 48 years as a school crossing guard. She was a member of Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wade Farrington.
Surviving are her daughter, Donia Woodall and husband, Neal, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; grandchildren, Teresa Goody and husband, Glenn, and Tyann Woodall; great-grandchildren, Trevor and Taylor Goody; half sister, Rachel Kepley Porter of Granite Quarry; and half brother, Kep Kepley of Lexington.
