Ruby Lee Laws

Ruby Lee Laws, 82, of Lexington, passed away January 10, 2023, at Piedmont Christian Home in High Point.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 13, 2023, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Langley officiating, burial will follow in the Holly Hill Cemetery in Thomasville; The family will receive friends Thursday night from 5-7pm at the Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

Mrs. Laws was born July 20, 1940, in Transylvania County, to William Lee and Jessie Fisher Lee. Ruby was raised in the Mills Home in Thomasville, and in her eyes, it was near and dear to her heart. She was of the Baptist faith and having retired from Stanley Furniture. Her passion was her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Ruby was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, who will be missed by all. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Grayson Laws Sr., son, Eddie Barrier, and brother-in-law, Leonard Martinez.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Tino Barrier and wife Vivian of Lexington, Grayson Laws Jr., and wife Janeece of Palm Beach Gardens, Fl., brother, Robert E. Lee, sister Margaret Ann Martinez of Asheboro, also surviving are 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
