Ruby Teague Long

Ruby Teague Long, age 86 passed away Saturday night, at The Oaks of Alamance. A memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday April 5, in the Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel, conducted by Rev. David Nolan. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Ruby was born February 2, 1925 in Rockingham County, N.C. to, William E. Teague and Hattie Landreth Teague. She was retired from AT&T.. She was a member of Glenn Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son Larry Lee Roland. Surviving are one son Ronald J. Roland and wife Jackie of Winston-Salem N.C.; Five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and three great- great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial made be sent to Community Home Care & Hospice, 2855 S. Church Street, Burlington, N.C. 27215. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
