Ruby Mae Hinkle Wilkes

Ruby Mae Hinkle Wilkes, age 89 of Welcome, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at Hinkle Hospice Home. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Shiloh United Methodist Church with Pastor David R. Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, March 18 2015 at the Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. Ruby was born January 10 1926 in Davidson County to Robert “Bob” Webster Hinkle and Annie Hamilton Hinkle. A member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and she retired from Hanes Knitting Company. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; George “Jimmy” Lee Wilkes, cousin; Willard Hinkle Sr. Surviving are her cousins; Terry Hinkle (Hoa), Patricia Johnson (Ron Green), Willard Hinkle Jr. (Deborah), Martha Bullard, sister; Ruth Hinkle all of Welcome.
