Ruby Perrell

Mrs. Ruby Kirk Perrell, 91, of Beck’s Church Road, died Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Lexington Medical Center. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday December 10, 2011 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Darrell Sluder and burial to follow in Becks Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter on Varner Drive, Lexington. Mrs. Perrell was born July 17, 1920 in Davidson County to Ernest Eugene Kirk and Hattie Burkhart Kirk. She retired from National Wholesale and was a member of Beck’s Lutheran Church. Her husband, William Roscoe Perrell, preceded her in death, as well as her brother, Ernest E. “Buck” Kirk, Jr. She is survived by her son, Ron Perrell and wife, Martha, of Lexington, her daughters, Judy Owens and husband, Ken and Barbara Parker and husband, Roger, both of Lexington; her brother, Bruce Kirk of Lexington; her sister, Betty Nance and husband, Carlyle, of Thomasville ; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.
