Mrs. Ruby Lamb Presnell, age 94 of Conrad Street, Lexington, NC died Friday, October 31 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 4 at Arrington Heights Freewill Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Bradley Testerman and Rev. Doug McGee. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will see friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Tuesday at Arrington Heights Freewill Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. At other times the family will be at the residence of the daughter on Pilgrim Court. Mrs. Presnell was born August 1, 1920 in Greenville County, Tenn to Robert Lee Lamb and Minnie Mae Lamb. She was a homemaker and a member of Arrington Heights Freewill Baptist Church where she served as Secretary of the Church for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Leroy Presnell who died April 3, 1984. She was also preceded in death by a son, Richard Leroy (Ricky) ) Presnell, a daughter Linda Dickens, brothers, Charles (Chub) Lamb, Sr., James Lodie Lamb, Robert Lee (June) Lamb and Jimmy R Lamb, and by a sister Ruth G. Everhart. She is survived by a daughter Carol Moretz and husband Dale of Lexington; grandchildren, Teresa Hedrick and husband Benny, Tim Edwards and wife Sarah, Jodie Hedrick and husband Chet and Cheryl Edwards; great grandchildren, Brandon Edwards, Michael Edwards, Meagan Hedrick, Katie Hedrick and Zachary Hedrick; great great grandchild, Austin Edwards. Memorials may be made to Arrington heights Freewill Baptist Church, 455 Freewill Circle, Lexington, NC 27295 Davidson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
