Rusty Jarvis

Dwayne “Rusty” Russell Jarvis, 49, a loving father, brother, uncle, beloved son, of Walnut Drive, died Thursday, March 9, 2017, at his home.  A celebration of his life will be 6 p.m. Monday, March13, 2017, at Davidson Funeral Home.  Rusty was born June 1, 1967, in Davidson County, to Dennie Webster Jarvis and Patricia Ragan Shanks. During his employment years he enjoyed sales and working in the finance department at car dealerships. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his stepfather, David Shanks.  Surviving in addition to his mother of Lexington are his sons, Jonathan Jarvis and wife Kayla of Kansas and David Jarvis of the home; fiancé, Tammy Trammell; brothers, Scott Jarvis of Lexington and Randy Jarvis of Charlotte; nephews, Taylor Jarvis and Connor Jarvis; and many cousins.  Memorials may be made to Davidson Medical Ministries, P.O.
