Ruth Mitchell Clark

Ruth Mitchell Clark, 80, of McCarron Way, died Sunday, September 11, 2016, at Levine Dickson Hospice in Huntersville. The funeral will be 5 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, at Davidson Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Blair officiating. Burial will be a later date in Connecticut National Cemetery, Middletown, CT. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3 to 5 p.m. Mrs. Clark was born August 11, 1936, in Plymouth, MA., to Charles Mitchell and Vera Mildred Ireland Mitchell. She attended First Baptist Church of Welcome. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Dellsworth Clark, who died January 6, 2007; and brother, Robert Mitchell. Surviving are sons, Joseph M. Clark of Welcome and Richard W. Clark and wife, Sherry of Connecticut; daughter, Rubi Fellows of Charlotte; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Mitchell and wife, Shelia of Virginia and Richard Mitchell and wife Ellen of Georgia; and sister-in-law, Linda Mitchell of Connecticut. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
