Ruth Evelyn Everhart

Ruth Evelyn Weisner Everhart, age 92, of Lexington passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in the Bethesda United Methodist Church, Family Life Center conducted by the Rev. Rick LeBaube. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 7 pm on Monday at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel and other times at the home. The family request the use of facial coverings and social distancing.

Mrs. Everhart was born October 31, 1928 in Davidson County to Arthur N. Weisner and Clara Sowers Weisner.  She was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church and was a devoted homemaker who farmed most of her life. She along with her husband started a family business, North Davidson Garbage Service and also worked for 27 years at PPG Industries. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Foil Bryce Everhart whom she married November 16, 1946; a sister, Lillian Weisner Gabriel; and her brothers, John, Charles, Fred, Arthur N. Jr., Lewis and Odell Weisner.

Surviving are her son, Mark Everhart (Susie) of Lexington; her daughter, Sharon Hall (Gary) of Lexington; three grandchildren, Jessica Hall, Bradley Everhart (Brooke), and Jonathan Hall; and her great-grandchildren, Elsie and Etta Everhart.
