Ruth Mcgee

Ruth Barkley McGee, 90 of Lexington Health Care, formerly of Briggs Road, Salisbury, died Friday December 16, 2011 at Lexington Health Care after declining health for several years. She was born March 23, 1921 in Iredell County, to Joseph Washington Barkley and Dora Holdsclaw Barkley. She was a retired hostess with McDonalds and a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Salisbury. She was married on August 24, 1946 to her husband who preceded her in death, Keith Ray McGee and two brothers; Ralph Gilbert Barkley and Frank Barkley. She is survived by her daughter: Judy M. Terrell of Lexington and one grandson; Scott Jackson, of Salisbury and one great granddaughter: Makenzie Jackson, of Salisbury.
