Ruth Rouse

Mable Ruth Roland Rouse age 90 of Old Salisbury Rd., Lexington died 3:36 AM Tuesday at her home after a 3 month illness. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Rev. Clyde Akers with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Tampa, Florida Mrs. Rouse was born October 17, 1915 in Selbyville, Tennessee to Tony Roland and Lillie Mae Moyers Roland. A retired employee of One Hour Martinizing, she was a member of Church of God in Tampa, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Rouse, September 1972; 2 sons, James Elmo Rouse, Bobby Gene Rouse and a daughter, Lillian Christine Craig. She is survived by a son, Clayton Ray Rouse of Lancaster, SC daughters, Cecile Headley of Daphne, AL; Edna McCallie and husband Bob of Linwood, 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 1 great great grandchild and sisters Margaret Wright of Danville, VA; Monte Watson of Columbia, TN The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME LEXINGTON
