Ruth Brown Starbuck

Ruth Mildred Brown Starbuck, age 85 of Lexington, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020 at Pine Ridge Health in Thomasville.

In order to comply with directives from Governor Cooper’s office, a private funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 4 ^th in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Casey Bradford and will be streamed live on the Davidson Funeral Home Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/davidson-funeralhome/

Burial will follow at Jersey Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ruth was born on August 23, 1934 in Davidson County to David Gilmer Brown and Ruby Owens Brown.  She retired from PPG and was a member of Jersey Baptist Church.  Her parents; husband, James Edward Starbuck; brother, Ralph Brown and sister, Edith Colville, preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memory include sons, Randy James Starbuck (Letitia) and Greg Lee Starbuck, both of Lexington; daughter, Pam Crotts of Lexington; brother, Ronald Brown, (Linda) of High Point; sister, Evelyn Priddy (Clyde) of High Point; six grandchildren, Sandy Leonard, Michael Starbuck, Ben Starbuck, Kristopher Shaw, Josh Shaw and Misty Everhart; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
