Ruth Trivette

Mabel Ruth Glenn Trivette, 92, of Alston Brook, formerly of Old Salisbury Rd., died Monday, April 13, 2009 at the nursing facility. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Grace Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Rev. Gene Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Trivette was born September 26, 1916 in Watauga County to Lewis Glenn and Nora Tester Glenn. She was a homemaker and preceded in death by her husband, Conley Trivette, and her son, Larry Trivette. She is survived by two sons, Harold Trivette, and wife, Pauline, of Lexington and Willie Trivette, and wife, Deanna of Chattanooga, TN; her daughter, Sharon Greene, and husband, Kelly, of Lexington; her daughter in law, Barbara Trivette of Lexington; 11 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at their respective homes.
