Ruth Evelyn Waitman Williams

Ruth Evelyn Waitman Williams, 75, of Mt. Carmel Road passed away peacefully on August 26, 2019 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Thursday , August 29th at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church with Rev. Jimmy Myers .  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation with family and friends will be held from 6-8pm on Wednesday, August 28 ^th at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

Mrs. Williams was born on April 19, 1944 in Goochland County, VA to John Ray Waitman and Virginia May Ullman Waitman.  She was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church and was a graduate of West Davidson High School.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are her loving husband, Charles Clyde Williams, Sr., of the home; brother, Chris Waitman of Lexington; sisters, Carol Presnell of Mocksville and Joyce Lanning of Holden Beach; 3 nephews and 1 niece.
