Sadie Cope Miller

Sadie Cope Miller, 84, of Lakeview Church Road, died Monday, August 15, 2011, at her home. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at Tyro United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Randy Foster, Renee Easter and Jane Webb. Burial will follow in Greers Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Mrs. Miller was born October 27, 1926, in Davidson County, to Ivory Cope and Grace Byerly Cope. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard F. Miller; a son, Franklin Miller; brother, James Cope; sisters, Rachel Hull, Helen White and Betty Daubenmeyer. Surviving are brother, Bob Cope of Lexington; and sisters, Mary Burrus and husband, Allen, Essie Duggins and husband, John, Judy Stanley, all of Linwood, and Bernice Hill and husband, Loyd, of Lexington.
