Sallie Jean Hunt

Sallie Jean Hicks Hunt, 72, of Davidson County, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Trellis Hospice.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Lexington City Cemetery.

Sallie was born on March 24, 1950, in Boone, NC. She spent most of her life as a homemaker, taking care of her family and her children. Sallie absolutely loved her family and was known as an amazing caregiver. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lee Hunt; and several brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Gary Hunt, of the home, Terry Hunt and wife Sharon, of Lexington, and Lonnie Hunt, of King; two brothers, Junior Hicks, and Hamen Hicks; close friend, Pam Beane; twelve grandchildren, Tiffany Hunt Jenkins, Heather Campbell, Savanna Dalton, Tieara Callahan, Travis Hunt, Austin Hunt, Haley Hunt, Cameron Hunt, Abbey Hunt, Tamara Titman, Lonnie, Minard, and Austin Rachels; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
