Sally Mae Atkins Key

Sally Mae Atkins Key, 80 of Florence South Carolina passed away Monday, July 16, 2018 at Carolinas Hospital in Florence, SC.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at First Baptist Church of Welcome, where she was a member. The Reverends Mark Blair, James Smith, and David Cromer will be officiating the service. Burial will follow in First Baptist Church of Welcome Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at First Baptist Church in Welcome.

Sally was born in Surry County on November 2, 1937 to Elzedan Atkins and Bertie Mae Dollyhigh Atkins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy Lee Atkins, five brothers, Aubrey Atkins, Elbert Atkins, Herbert Atkins, Garnett Atkins and Roger Atkins and one sister Hattie Lou Davis.

Surviving are her two daughters, Penny Bowman and husband, Gary, of Lexington and Vicki Brown and husband, Bill, of Florence, SC; her grandchildren, Brian Bowman and wife Kim, Justin Bowman and wife Kallie, Winter Isgett and husband Chris and Chad Grier and wife Raygan; and her great-grandchildren, Blakley, Brody, and Sailor Grace.
