Sally Christine Smith Nobles

Sally “Chris” Christine Smith Nobles 84 passed away Monday, May 2, 2016 at Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on May 5,2016 at First Baptist Church of Welcome with Pastor Mark Blair and Rev. Mike Lane. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. Sally was born May 15, 1931in Columbus County to Morgan Burnis Smith and Sally Nobles Smith. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Welcome and retired from Duracell international Inc. with 26years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Ruth Caulder. Surviving are her husband Ambers Nobles of the home, sons; Randy Nobles (Patty) of Winston Salem, Kenny Nobles of Lexington, daughter; Peggy Cook (Charles) of Lexington, six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
