Salvatore Zackeo

Salvatore Zackeo 77 of Lexington passed away Wednesday March 30, 2022, at his home. The family will celebrate his life privately.

Mr. Zackeo was born June 1, 1944 in Brooklyn New York to Dominic and Catherine Ferrovecchio Zackeo. He retired from Ocean County College. His parents  along with a brother, Vincent Zackeo and sister, Angelina Miserendino all preceded him in death. He honorably served his country in The US Army. Sal was fortunate to be able to travel to Italy with his wife. He supported his wife with the local Community College Theater. He enjoyed tinkering with cars and spending  time with his son, his sons wife and his grandchildren, Marissa and Justin.

Surviving are his loving wife of 50 years, Margaret Shinn Zackeo of the home. A son, Sonny Zackeo and his wife Eileen of Lexington.
