Sammy Gray Freeman

Sammy Gray Freeman, 73, of Lexington, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center. A funeral service will be held 3 PM Sunday April 30, 2023, at Good Hope United Methodist Church with Pastor Johnny Lord officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 in the fellowship hall. Mr. Freeman was born September 4, 1949, in Davidson County, to Joseph Rudolph Freeman and Ida Mae Whitley Freeman. He was a member of Good Hope United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, Sammy was preceded in death by his sister in-law, Linda Freeman. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Debra Ann Richardson Freeman of the home; one son, Chad Freeman (Mary) of Clemmons; one daughter, Kimberly Craver (Wally) of Clemmons; three brothers, Danny Freeman (Kathy) of Lexington, Gary Freeman (Janet) of Lexington, and Tim Freeman (Amy) of Churchland; one sister, Carolyn Walser (Talbert) of Lexington; and five grandchildren, Abby Craver, Sydney Craver, Mitchell Freeman, Hudson Freeman, and Whitley Freeman.
