Samuel Hathorn Bright, 53, of Lake Drive #8, Lexington died Tuesday, August 12, 2014 in Hinkle Hospice House after a two-month illness.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, August 15, 2014 at their home.
A private interment service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Bright was born December 30, 1960 in Durham County to Dr. Samuel R. Bright, Jr. and Elizabeth Hyde Bright. He was Owner/Operator of Bright Masonry, a member of NC Masonry Association and American Motorcycle Association. Sam was a very tender hearted man who always thought of others’ needs. He was very talented artistically, loved music, cycling and was a gifted builder. He especially loved watching his son race Motocross and being with others at the race track. Most of all he loved his grandbaby. Preceding him in death were his parents.
Surviving are his wife, Cindy Styers Bright of the home; a son, Tyler Bright of Greenville; a daughter, Hannah Bright of Lexington; a special granddaughter, Milee Reece of Lexington; a sister, Sara Bright of Georgia; step-mother, Joyce Lindberg of Winston-Salem and mother and father-in-law, Frank and Sue Styers of Lexington; and beloved pets, Jackson and Ichiban.
