Samuel Lee Persiani, age 68 of Conard Sowers Road, Lexington passed away Saturday night at Hinkle Hospice House.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at Salisbury National Cemetery with Rev. David Kolb officiating. Inurnment will follow in the columbarium with military honors. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday night.
Samuel was born in Forsyth County June 22, 1945 to Samuel and Emily Lou Snow Persiani. He was a former employee of Taylor Brothers Tobacco Company and a veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Samuel is survived by, his wife, Diane Wilkes Persiani of the home; daughters, Sondra Whitman of Midway and Cathy Snow (David) of Lexington; son, Bobby Persiani (Kim) of Walkertown; five grandchildren; brothers, Bill Persiani of King and Edwin Persiani of Winston Salem.
The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of Hinkle Hospice House for all the love and care given to Samuel and family during his illness.
