Samuel L. Sims
June 26, 1946 — October 31, 2022
Samuel L. Sims 76 of Lexington passed away Monday, October 31, 2022, at his home. A graveside service will be 4:00 pm Friday, November 4, 2022, at Mount Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Pastor Tom Gramley.
Mr. Sims was born June 26, 1946, in Johnston County to the late Jessie Glenn Sims and Georgia Burgess Sims. He was a retired Electrician. His wife Patsy Jo Hege Sims preceded him in death.
Surviving is his brother, Robert S. Sims (Susan) of Winston Salem, and a sister Mary Wilcox of Kernersville. Also surviving are many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
